    My Clean, Shedding Dog

I hate the smell of wet dog…well, except for this one.

But then, that’s only after she’s had a good bath. I don’t typically use dog specific shampoos on the the Destroyer beeeee-caaaaaaause,

    1. I don’t like the way they make her smell afterward.
    2. She seems to be itchier after I a bath with a regular dog shampoo, than she is after I use the Aveda volumizing shampoo.
    3. Dog shampoo doesn’t make her coat as fluffy, shiny, bouncy, or soft.
    4. She smells less like dog for a longer period of time.

So far, the Aveda is the only people shampoo that I’ve used on her, but it works well for her. I have a nearly full bottle to use up that didn’t quite work for me.

I usually blow her completely dry once out of the tub, then comb her out so that she’s a big bouncing ball of blonde fluffiness. But it’s been so hot here lately, air drying is almost as quick, and less of a energy drain. And she’s been shedding so much,

getting her coat to fluff just results in frustration and a massive mess all over the floor, and everything else. P6271512

    I need to vacuum.

Talk to you in the next one!
