I often wonder to myself why toy packaging is so difficult to get through…
Is toy theft really that bad?
When I was a little girl, all you had to do was peel back the cardboard from the plastic front, or just pull the top of a box open, pour out the contents, and play.
Today my little one and I went perusing at our local toy store. We left with a Power Rangers Megazord, and a transforming Optimus Prime truck. It seems like it gets more and more difficult, and unnecessarily complicated to get these things out of the packaging.
I could barely get my little scissors in to snip the Megazord free. And the truck…
oh my goodness…
hmmmmm….twist and pull?
Too bad I didn’t see that until the damage was done. But in my opinion, if you need directions to instruct people how to open your packaging, it obviously isn’t as intuitive as it ought to be.
Who the heck wants to fiddle with the packaging anyway?!
OK. Rant completed. I’m going to go play now, and you should do the same.
Bye now!
